The Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck is a 44 card deck written and illustrated by Kim Dreyer. The cards come with a 44 page companion book, and come in a cardboard box. On the cover is the image of Card 24 – Third Eye Chakra. On the back is the image of Card 18 – Air Elemental. Across the bottom of the front cover reads: “Awakening the spirit and rekindling the connection between the cosmos and the earth.”
In her introduction, Dreyer states that this deck was created to honor, celebrate, and reconnect to Nature, Spirit, and the Divine Feminine in all her forms: the angel, fairy, goddess, the maiden, mother, and crone. The cards in this deck were arranged to take the reader on a sequential journey to help the reader to awaken and discover their own unique path.
The cards are meant to assist an individual in making lifestyle changes that bring them into alignment with their higher self. The cards are meant to gently share their wisdom with you, as well as the wisdom of the universe, allowing the reader to find their soul purpose.
In the LWB (the Little White Book/companion book), the cards are presented with text only, giving the card number and name, the affirmation, and a description of the card’s energy.. For Archangel Gabriel the text reads:
“I invite the Archangel Gabriel to bring hope and intuition into my life.
This card is a reminder to you that you can call upon the angels to assist you in your life, irrespective of what your beliefs are. Archangel Gabriel can be called upon to show you ways to bring hope into your life when feelings of hopelessness set in. Gabriel can also be called to assist you to develop you natural feminine intuition. She will help you to develop appreciation and skills for art, music, and literature. If you are an artist or a writer, invite her into your life to help you find inspiration or motivation. This card could also be a sign that you need to take up art or writing as a hobby. Gabriel can also assist you in interpreting your dreams. She will remain by your side supporting your dreams and aspirations as long as you request her help. Her name means “God is my strength”. Invite Gabriel into your life when you need strength to follow your dreams.”
The cards themselves are 3 ½” by 5 ¼”, with a matte finish. The backs shown Dreyer’s diverse background as a fantasy artist and graphic designer, with interests in the supernatural, fantasy, and esoteric, along with her love of nature. The colors are the colors of the chakra system (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple). The imagery includes the Tree of Life, the seven chakras, the moon cycles, and more. The backs are not reversible.
The card faces show a 1.4” beige border, with the card number and name across the top in black lettering against a yellow background, with an affirmation in the “voice” of card along the bottom, in the same black lettering against a yellow background. The images are beautifully done in pastels, with a fantasy look to them. Elemental symbols are placed in the four corners of each card.
For number 42 – Wheel of Life, the affirmation reads “I am guided by the cycles of life and live in complete harmony with them. For number 26 – Crown Chakra, the affirmation reads “I know I am part of Source an my life is guided by Divine wisdom.” For number 14 – Fire Elemental, the affirmation reads “I ignite the fire within me that connects me to the Divine.”
I love the imagery in this deck – the Fire Elemental show a female figure standing, with her arms outstretched, in a red dress. Flames are coming from her hands, flames surround the hem of her dress, and back light her head and upper body. The Archangel Gabriel shows a female figure, with blond hair, dressed in white, with white wings. In her right hand she carrier a bouquet of white flowers.
From the introduction:
“The purpose of these cards is also to awaken you to the beautiful, unique Human being that you are and to remind you that you have valuable gifts and lessons to share with all of humanity.”
